Red Lobster
The other day my friends and I decided to celebrate school being out by going out to eat for dinner.  My mom had a gift card for Red Lobster that she was never going to use, so we made our decision to head there for dinner.  All three of us had never been to the restaurant since we were just little so it was all new to us.  Coming in we were greeted by five different girls... HUH?  We had the one who told us to wait to be seated and the rest just stood around.  It just looked bad I thought.  They crowded the entire entrance and the parking lot had been full so why weren't they out serving or taking orders?
We finally got our seat and menues and we looked over everything.  I am not a fish eater, but I am getting better, while on the other hand my other two friends loved seafood.  We decided to get an apetizer combonation as well as a shrimp combo plate.  All together that was popcorn and fried shrimp, calamari w/ fried veggies, and mozzerella sticks.  Then the lady asked us for our side and we all agreed on french fries.  It hadn't even dawned on us yet, that we had ordered all fried foods, until the waitress made a comment that my friends and I all agreed to offense to.  "Well,, since everything you just ordered is fried, your food will be out quickly."  Just the way she said really made me upset.  School's out, we're teenagers and so what?!  We didn't feel like ordering the side of brocolli or buying the super expensive fresh trout.  Jeesh.
So on top of the rude remark I overheard the convo going on at the next table.  The lady ordered a baked potato and the waitress told her they were out, then she went on this whole seperate convo about how she hates being the one to tell people this.  I looked at the lady and she seemed she just wanted her to shut up and offer her something else.  She didn't come to chat with her, but with her husband and enjoy some food.
While we waited for our food they did serve us free biscuits, which I have to say were delicious.  They were cheesy, herby and perfect. Then the rest of our order came out and the shrimp was alright and so were the cheese sticks.  Calamari, I just couldn't stand the chewy texture.  Overall the food was decent, my favorite being the popcorn shrimp and biscuits, oh and yes, the fries I guess.
To wrap this review up I will mention the trip on the way out... Guess how many people were standing by the door.  Atleast five if not more!  And while they each told us "Thank You and have a nice evening."  Not one of them held the door or anything.  They just stood there blocking the little hallway and iritating me beyond belief.

I would give this Hotspot a 5 out of 10
